White Water: I | Difficulty: II
Little Sugar Creek is known for its crystal clear waters and smallmouth fishing. Little Sugar Creek is a tributary to the Elk River and is located southeast of Pineville, MO. Little Sugar Creek provides 13 miles of floatable access during the spring and summer seasons and is classified as class II difficulty. Not only does it provide floating opportunities, but also provides wonderful scenery including bluffs and caves. You can also find several swimming holes and campgrounds along the creek as well.
No USGS stations at this time.
Note: A Creek/River’s environment will change constantly. Always use caution and follow all safety procedures when floating. Access Points may cost parking fees depending on location.
Due to the lack of parking and stories of people having vehicles towed along public right away. I recommend that you use a shuttling service.
